I was thinking that KMS should be a place where students create dreams of what they can become in the future. It would be great to create a "Wall of Fame" that includes people that attended KMS and accomplished great things.
Right now I think that Kearney is something that is perceived as "belonging" to the adults who work here. I would love to see it change so that the perception is that KMS belongs to everyone that has a stake in it, staff, students and parents.
The "Wall of Fame" idea is great! I think Kearney is a place where things are happening -- changes are being made and there's a focus on improvement and high expectations. I also think Kearney can be misunderstood. My day-to-day expereiences here do not match up with what people in other areas of the state expect. I think we should find a way to change that -- so they see what we see!
By the way--I am "Somebunny to Love." That was an old college project I did online and used my google account for. Forgot I even had it! Anyway, that's what I had to sign in as.
