I am excited to embark on this journey with you all. I believe that this process will have some amazing results. It may take some time, but the task of a culture shift is powerful.
When reflecting on what is Kearney, I have to start by thinking about what I envision Kearney looking like when we've successfully implemented this process that we are creating.
I see successful instruction happening in every classroom. I see students participating in their education not just by receiving and learning but actively taking part in the learning process. I see students "plugged in" to teachers and staff and administration where they trust adults to come to them not just to talk about what angst they may be feeling but also the joys they are experiencing.
I see students taking this newfound empowerment home to spread the idea that life is a discussion with all taking part.
